Privacy Policy

Data Technicians Group, LLC (“DTG,” “we,” “us”) provides telecommunications field services. This policy explains what we collect when you visit datatechs.com, apply to work with us, or work with us as a contractor, and how we use it.
Text messaging and your mobile number
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone except the service providers that deliver our messages for us (such as our SMS carrier platform), and only so they can deliver them.
You can stop our texts at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. See our SMS terms for the details of the program.
What we collect
- When you apply: your name, phone number, email address, the market you want to work in, the type of work you do, and anything you add in the notes.
- When you onboard or work with us as a contractor: the information needed to contract with you, credential you with our clients, and pay you (for example business details, insurance, and payment information), collected through our secure portal and e-signature provider.
- When you contact us: what you send us by email, text or phone.
- When you visit the website: basic technical data your browser sends (such as IP address and device type), used to run and secure the site. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To review applications and contact you about openings, your application and onboarding.
- To contract with, schedule, credential and pay the technicians who work with us.
- To send the emails and text messages you agreed to receive.
- To keep our systems secure, meet our legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run our systems for us (hosting, email and text delivery, e-signature, file storage, payroll), under agreements that limit their use of the data to providing those services.
- The telecommunications companies we work for, only when needed to credential, badge or dispatch a technician who is working with us.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. Use the unsubscribe link in any recruiting email to stop those emails.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing info@datatechs.com. We keep some records as long as the law or an active contract requires.
Security and retention
We protect your information with access controls, encrypted connections and limited staff access. We keep applicant records while they are useful for hiring and contractor records as long as our contracts, tax and legal obligations require.
Children
Our website and applications are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
